The story of my attempt to ride the Pan-American highway on a KTM 990 SM-T as part of the 2011 Nick Sanders expedition.

The Piste

A large part of the trip so far has been on unpaved roads. Nearly everything I brought with me is being destroyed by the dust and vibration. Every few days I need to tighten up nuts and bolts on the bike, the kindle is no more and now the head bearing has a big notch at the center position.
